Hooooooo

An oldish pic. I try not to post old art here and make new pics for this place but I didnt get round to redoing a new self portrait so I'll have to resort to pulling this one out. Done at the beginning of the month for the International Self Portrait Day. Done from a mirror which kicked my ass.

First thing.

So, the only time I really get a good look at my face is in the morning when I'm putting my slap on... and this is usually what I see :)

Self Portraits

Hello all! First post here, but I've been watching the blog and wanting to contribute for a while :]. Great stuff, very inspirational to see everyone's reactions to these topics.

Good timing - today was the day of my 365th daily self portrait study. I have them all uploaded somewhere, but rather than try and compile a stress-inducingly-huge image file, I thought a little comparison, 1st - 365th, would do the job.

Hopefully I'll be posting more regularly from now on :]
Kind Regards all

Hey, new to this blog, but I've heard of it from previous animators. :D
Irony that it was self portrait day a couple of weeks ago, so here's mine.

Hope I can regularly do the topics here.
Peace!

Self Portrait

Ugh, first let me say that I have started sooooo many things for this blog only to get distracted by the film this year. So for that I apologize for being such a terrible contributor. But know that I'm always lurking on here for inspiration from all the lovely talented people I know. I did this self portrait a few weeks ago for self portrait day. I think it's generally creepy, so I like it all the more. (oh the books are because I now work in the Library at Uni shelving). I did this as part of a digital painting tutorial to learn some new stuff, so this piece was really more about the learning process, and not so much the final outcome.
