50 Portraits

I was going to do the 100 portraits thing but decided it
would be cool to try it for this topic.
I stopped at 50 when my hand started to cramp up.
Need more training!

Left handed attempts at drawing my eyes and glasses have left me with this sad expression :(

Opposite hand + random generator program = Chaos!

The software I used for this is called Alchemy. Its quick and easy to use and of course free! I did some Photoshop surgery afterwards using the lasso and gradient to keep things clean.

Since I've already done a redesign of my grad film before, I went with my take on my friend's grad film instead. I think it will be more interesting to see our different styles in each other's films. Hope Team Barry's Ice doesn't mind. There might be more to come...

But... I wondered how everyone feels about continuing the current topic for an extra fortnight. So far the responses is positive. So the next topic will start Monday 17th October.

New Topic: STUDENT FILM ENCORE

We have almost reached our 50th topic! To celebrate this achievement we shall take time to remember the films that we slaved over all those years ago (not so many for some) !!!

This fortnights topic is Student Film Encore! which has been extended to a month!

The idea is quite simple. You could redesign the character/s from your film, paint a new background or maybe reanimate a scene! Anything related to the film you worked on in your final year. For those of you that have not yet reached this stage you could post something inspired by a past student film of the AIB/AUCB.
